Tattu

Those who mourn the demise of Leeds's Chinatown will take some comfort in knowing that an array of other Chinese restaurants have since sprung up across the city.

One such place is Tattu, located in East Parade next to Blackhouse. They offer upmarket and modern Chinese food. The setting cannot be faulted: beautifully petaled trees go through the middle of the restaurant.

The chilli salt baby squid and the crispy pork belly from the small plates menu will provide a full meal for some people. For those moving onto a main, I recommend the sweet and sour pork.

Everything is beautifully presented.

Our principal concern with Tattu is the price. We find it expensive compared to most other restaurants in Leeds.
